I Didn't Know

  1. Someone sent me this one before and it did not seem right so as you can do, I checked the calendar function on the computer. Wish I kept it - now I will work it out again.
823 years is a very long time for something with a low number of 31 to occur in a cycle so long.
(Not that I pretend to understand why 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 Fridays are significant, or why the month of July is significant in the first place. ANY month with 31 days will have 3 days in a row with 5 weeks. …and if memory serves, I think one of the emails was talking about August, not July)

July 2011 does NOT have 5 Sat, Sun and Mon. It does have 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays.
July of 2010 did not have and 2012 will not have, so don’t know where that mistake came from.
So assuming that they mean this July, then it will occur again in 2016, 2022, 2033, 2039, 2044, 2050, 2061, 2067, 2072, 2078, 2089, 2095 and that is only this century.
    So it appears to be intervals of 6 11 6 5 6 11 6 5 6 11 6 A pattern there of 6 5 6 11 repeating, but as you can see the interval is no greater than 11 years.
2011 plus 823 is the year 2834. July of 2834 from http://www.infoplease.com/calendar.php gives 5 Sat, 5 Sun and 5 Mon, so that is not ever right.

If you assume that it is 5 Sat, 5 Sun and 5 Mon, then the 823 years is still out (as proven above) but will occur in 2017, 2023, 2028 …. Same pattern of 6 5 6 11

Normally I do not like to be this picky and respond to such, but this is the third one and one of them was suggesting that since it is lucky and a moneybag year you should play the lottery or invest in high risk stuff, which really does bother me.
